What does it mean if my BMI is in the yellow?
The CDC (Center for Disease Control) has classified a BMI of 25-29.9 as clinically overweight.
If you are in the yellow category, you are clinically overweight. Although you do not yet have the same health risks (based on your weight) as someone with a BMI of 30 or more, it would be wise to consider reducing your weight right now. Even if you aren’t yet obese, you may be experiencing some weight related health problems that losing weight may dramatically improve.
If you are in the yellow, and especially if you already have health problems, schedule a free consultation to find out how our professional weight loss experts can get you back to the weight you should be at. There’s every reason you should be enjoying the benefits of being slimmer, and therefore healthier, right now.
